Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data the Malak Al Reem website collects, why, how long it is kept and what you can ask us to do with it. It follows the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

Who is responsible

What we collect and why

Enquiry form

When you send an enquiry, we collect:

• your name and email address
• your phone number, if you give it
• the type of enquiry and, if relevant, the development it is about
• your message
• the language and the page you sent it from

We use these details only to answer your enquiry and to follow it up. Your enquiry is sent by email to the team that handles that type of enquiry, for example sales, partnerships or media.

Job application form

When you apply for a job, we collect:

• your name, email address and phone number
• your CV
• your LinkedIn profile and a cover note, if you add them
• the job you applied for

We use these details only to assess your application for that job and to contact you about it. Your application is sent to the hiring team and kept in a private part of the website that only authorised staff can open.

Protecting the forms from spam

To stop automated spam, the forms use a hidden field, a limit on how many messages one connection can send in an hour, and Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells people from programs without asking you to solve a puzzle. For the hourly limit we keep a coded (hashed) form of your connection’s IP address for one hour. Cloudflare processes technical data about your browser and connection to run its check.

Cookies

We set a cookie that remembers your language and, if you accept analytics, cookies that count visits. The cookie notice lists them.

Legal basis

We process enquiries and applications because you ask us to: you give your consent with the tick box on each form, and we take the steps you request before any agreement. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect what was done before.

How long we keep it

• Job applications and CVs: 12 months from the date you apply, then they are deleted automatically.
• Enquiry emails: only as long as we need them to answer you and to follow up.
• The record for the hourly message limit: one hour.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:

• the group company that handles your enquiry or the job you applied for
• the service providers that run this website, its email and its spam check (Cloudflare), under contracts that limit how they use it
• public authorities, when the law requires it

Transfers outside the UAE

Some service providers, such as Cloudflare, may process data outside the United Arab Emirates. When they do, we rely on the safeguards the law allows.

Your rights

Under the law you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
• correct data that is wrong or incomplete
• delete data we no longer need
• restrict or stop processing it
• give you your data in a structured, machine-readable form, so you can take it elsewhere

Send your request to info@malakalreem.com. We check who you are before we answer. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.

Changes to this notice

We update this notice when the website changes what it collects. The date at the top of the page shows the last change.
